ABOUT BMES

Mentorship

Our Mentorship Program is made to help underclassmen while they navigate through their engineering fields. We will provide students with several meetings to inform them of:

  • The ETAM Process

  • Joining Research

  • Study Abroad Opportunities

  • Specific BMEN Career Paths

Community

We are a family in our BMES community. We host socials including attending sporting events, going out for food, playing games, watching movies, and more.

Networking

Our meetings include presentations from companies within the industry, which give our members an opportunity to network one-on-one with the presenters. From these meetings, our members gain various professional skills and a greater understanding of their career paths

All Meetings are held every Tuesday, 7:30-8:30pm

in ETB 1037.

(With the exception of the first few meetings in the calendar.)

A Message From Our President

Howdy!

Hello everyone! My name is Maddy, and I’m thrilled to serve as this year’s President of the Biomedical Engineering Society Chapter at Texas A&M. Throughout my undergraduate years, BMES has been a source of guidance, support, and community, and I’m eager to provide that same experience for both new and returning members. I’m excited for all the opportunities this year will bring and look forward to seeing our members learn, grow, and enjoy being part of BMES. I’m also confident that our outstanding officer team will bring fresh ideas and positive changes to our organization. I can’t wait to meet all the new faces and officially introduce this year’s BMES!
